Flanders, N.J., October 13, 2004 ― Rudolph Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: RTEC), a leading provider of process control equipment for thin film measurement and macrodefect inspection during integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing, announced today that it was officially welcomed into the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, during a ceremony on the company site at 10:30 a.m., October 13, 2004. Rudolph is among only seven companies in the state of New Jersey that has earned SHARP recognition, which is awarded by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) to companies that demonstrate exemplary achievements in safety and health programs at their worksite.
"Rudolph's accomplishment as one of only seven companies in the state to have completed the SHARP certification is just another example of why Rudolph is an excellent place to work in the state of New Jersey," said Mr. Paul McLaughlin, Chairman and CEO, Rudolph Technologies, Inc. "We initiated the SHARP program because of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees; I am proud of them for having the awareness, training, and diligence to earn this highest level certification for workplace safety and health."
